Caring Culture Leads to National Award for GreenState
GreenState Credit Union ranked #16 in the US

North Liberty, IA - GreenState Credit Union has been recognized as top employer in the nation for the 2022 Top Workplaces USA award, issued by Energage, a purpose-driven organization that develops solutions to build and brand Top Workplaces. The Top Workplaces program has a 15-year history of surveying more than 20 million employees and recognizing the top organizations across 60 markets for regional Top Workplaces awards.

Winners of the Top Workplaces USA list are chosen based solely on employee feedback gathered through an employee engagement survey, issued by Energage. Results are calculated by comparing the survey’s research-based statements, including 15 Culture Drivers that are proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks. GreenState landed at #16 in the 500-999 employee category. They were the only credit union in the top 20.

“It’s been a year of adaptability and growth and being recognized as a top U.S. workplace is a reason to celebrate,” stated Marsha Wolff, Chief Human Resource/Information Officer at GreenState. “At the core of success is our people, who are truly committed to fostering a culture of candor, care and collaboration. Their continuous efforts play a significant role in what makes GreenState so special, and we are thrilled to be recognized.”

GreenState Credit Union is Iowa’s largest credit union and one of the top financial institutions in the United States for returning profits to members in the form of better rates and lower fees. It has received a Top Workplace Award for businesses in Iowa, but this is the first national level recognition. GreenState serves over 350,000 members with 30 office locations. Membership is open to anyone living or working in Iowa as well as select counties in Illinois, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
