Mike Ward is a Vice President/ Mortgage Loan Officer with more than 20 years of experience in residential mortgage lending and financial services. Over the course of his career Mike has generated more than $1 billion in residential loan volume earning recognition as a member of the Billion Dollar Club and establishing himself as a trusted advisor for homebuyers and homeowners throughout Iowa and other states across the U.S. Mike works closely with clients to guide them through every stage of the mortgage process. Whether assisting with a first-time home purchase, refinancing an existing mortgage, or structuring financing for a move-up home, Mike is known for providing clear communication, strategic guidance, and a smooth lending experience. His expertise includes home purchase financing, mortgage refinancing, construction financing and complex residential lending scenarios. Mike holds an MBA and has been recognized as a National Mortgage News Top Producer. He has also been named to the Iowa Mortgage Association President’s Club for 11 consecutive years, reflecting his consistent production and commitment to client service. Mike believes that transparency and education are essential in helping borrowers make confident financial decisions. He takes pride in walking clients through their options and ensuring they feel informed and comfortable throughout the lending process. Originally from Clear Lake, Iowa, Mike now lives in the Des Moines area with his wife, Stephanie, and their three daughters (Faith, Grace & Trinity). Outside of work he enjoys traveling with his family, boating, camping, running road races, studying history, attending the Iowa State Fair and spending time outdoors.
