Kurt Backes

Born and raised in New Jersey, I ventured out to Central Iowa in 2002 to attend college at the prestigious Iowa State University and to wrestle for the Cyclones. For several years after graduating with a Finance degree and a minor in Commercial Real Estate, I chose to further my wrestling knowledge and help lead and develop young adults. The teams I helped coach were; Iowa State, Missouri, Virginia Tech and, lastly, University of Iowa. Soon thereafter, my wife, Mandy, and I received a birth of a young boy in 2012 which I then chose to leave the world of coaching and use my finance background and help people to achieve the American Dream...Homeownership!
