Your dream of buying a home could soon be a reality
This is an exciting time with many important things to consider during the process. Here's what to expect from everyone who will help along the way.
Stay focused on the important details
Buying a home is a large investment with many considerations. Your Realtor and GreenState Credit Union Loan Officer can help make this an efficient, pleasant, and rewarding experience.
Your Realtor's Role
- Help you find and evaluate homes that fits your needs, preferences, and budget.
- Manage every step of the transaction — from inspections to closing — to ensure a smooth and successful purchase
- Negotiate the best deal for you. When you are pre-approved through GreenState Credit Union, your Realtor can show sellers you're a qualified and capable borrower.
Your Loan Officer's Role
- Help you select the best loan to meet your personal situation and goals while providing the best possible rate and lowest fees. This important decision can save you thousands of dollars throughout the years.
- Keep you informed of your loan status throughout the entire process.
- Keep your Realtor informed of our loan progress. Please note, your personal information is always kept confidential between you and us; only deal points and progress are shared.
Your Role
- Get pre-approved as early as possible, so you can concentrate on selecting your home.
- Communicate with your Realtor about any questions or concerns.
- Keep the process moving by providing documentation and decisions as soon as reasonably possible. By doing so, many of the details are taken care of early in the process so you can comfortably concentrate on any last-minute details that require your attention.
- Enjoy purchasing your home, but remain objective to make the best business decisions.
