Your $5 membership into GreenState (into your Share Savings) is simply part of your initial savings account. The $5 is yours if you should ever close your account. This membership provides you two things: Access to all our products and services, but more importantly, ownership in GreenState. All of our members are owners of the cooperative and share in the benefits in the form of lower rates and higher dividends.
