GreenState Credit Union works hard to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. We partner with organizations that support children's health, financial empowerment, affordable housing, and underserved communities. Our GreenState Giving Committee meets to evaluate applications and determine funding based on our donation guidelines.


2025 Giving Report

Funding Eligibility
  • All funding requests must be from local 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations or schools in the communities we serve and must have a proven record of effective work.
  • All requests within 60 days of media deadline or event date will NOT be considered. A minimum of 60 days is required.
  • Responses can be expected within 14 business days from the time an application is submitted.
  • You will be required to submit your organization's W-9 to receive payment.
  • If your request is for more than $10,000, you must attach your Form 990 tax returns from the previous two years.
  • We are unable to support individuals, team fundraisers, or GoFundMe requests.
  • Youth athletic requests will only be considered on behalf of GreenState staff with a child playing in the current season.
  • Funding must be used to support communities within our geographic footprint. 
  • While we strive to support as many causes as we can, we’re unable to fulfill every request.
